Destroying Evil Altars

In the Bible, altars represent places of worship, covenant, and sacrifice. While God's people built altars to honor Him, evil altars are erected in the spiritual realm by the enemy to hinder destinies, spread darkness, and enforce curses. These altars are platforms where demonic powers operate, speaking against individuals, families, or communities.

Judges 6:25-26 tells the story of Gideon, whom God instructed to tear down his father's altar to Baal and build an altar to the Lord in its place. This act of destroying an evil altar broke the power of idolatry over his family and community, paving the way for deliverance.

As believers, we must confront and destroy every evil altar that seeks to control or limit our lives. Through the authority given to us by Jesus (Luke 10:19), we can dismantle these altars and silence every evil voice speaking against us. Declare boldly that Christ has triumphed over all powers and principalities (Colossians 2:15).

3. Dismantling Evil Altars

  • In the name of Jesus, I destroy every evil altar speaking against my life, family, or destiny.

4. Nullifying Evil Covenants

  • I break every covenant and agreement made with evil altars, knowingly or unknowingly.
  • By the blood of Jesus, I cancel every word, curse, and sacrifice offered against me.

5. Silencing Evil Voices

  • I declare that only the voice of the Lord will prevail in my life (Psalm 29:4).

6. Establishing God’s Altar

  • Father, I establish Your altar in my life, home, and community.
  • May Your presence dwell with me and Your power manifest in every area of my life.

  • I am victorious through Christ, and no power of darkness can prevail against me.

Closing Declaration

Father, I thank You for the authority I have in Christ. I declare that every evil altar is destroyed, and my life is free from all spiritual oppression. Your altar of righteousness is established in my life, and Your plans for me will be fulfilled. I walk in Your power, victory, and peace, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen!
