Reign of Righteousness and Glory

Declaration:

“Father, grant us Your wisdom and righteousness that we may reign in justice and bring Your glory to the earth. Let Your name be praised forever, and may Your blessings fill all generations.”

Exhortation:

Psalm 72:1-5, 18-19 speaks to the establishment of a godly reign founded on justice, righteousness, and mercy. The psalmist petitions God for wisdom and righteousness for the king to ensure fair judgment for the poor and deliverance for the oppressed. This mirrors our spiritual responsibility to seek divine guidance in our roles as stewards of God’s kingdom.

In the midnight hour, as we rise to pray, we align ourselves with this prayer by asking for God’s wisdom in decision-making and His strength to act justly in every sphere of influence. This is also a time to declare His glory over every aspect of our lives, trusting that His power will bring transformation and lasting blessings.

Let us exalt God, as verses 18-19 remind us of His sovereignty: “Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory.”

Prayer Points:

1. Thanksgiving:

Thank God for His wisdom, justice, and righteousness in your life and community.

May these prayers draw us closer to the fulfillment of God’s promises and His reign of righteousness and glory.
