“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” – 2 Corinthians 5:18 (NIV)
Devotional:
When God reconciled us to Himself through Christ, He didn’t stop there. He handed us a calling; not just to enjoy salvation, but to extend it. You’ve been given a mission: to help others find their way back to God.
This isn’t just a suggestion or a task for church leaders. It’s a divine assignment for every believer. The world around us is broken; hurting from injustice, anger, fear, and deep spiritual confusion. But we are God’s chosen bridge-builders, called to reflect His heart, speak His truth, and carry His peace wherever we go.
You don’t need a stage or microphone to do this. Every conversation, every act of kindness, every moment you choose love over judgment becomes part of the ministry of reconciliation.
You may feel unqualified or weary. That’s okay, God equips those He calls. You’re not doing this alone. The Holy Spirit works through you, giving the right words, timing, and compassion needed to reach hearts.
So today, remind yourself: you are not just saved; you are sent. You carry heaven’s message in your hands and heart. Walk boldly in that truth.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for reconciling me through Christ. Strengthen me to be Your messenger of peace. Help me live out this calling with courage, compassion, and faith. Use me to draw others to You. Amen.
