Loosed at Last!

Scripture Reading: Luke 13:10–17

Devotional Reflection

In Luke 13:10–17, we meet a woman who had been bent over for eighteen long years. Her body was twisted, and her condition was beyond human help. Yet, one Sabbath, as she entered the synagogue, she encountered Jesus. He saw her—not just her condition, but her pain, her faithfulness, and her silent endurance.

Jesus called her forward and declared, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” Immediately, she stood up straight and glorified God. What years of suffering could not fix, one word from Jesus accomplished.

This moment reminds us that no bondage lasts forever when Jesus steps in. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been struggling—whether it’s fear, guilt, sickness, or delay—Christ still speaks freedom. His power is not limited by time, tradition, or the opinions of others.

When Jesus says you are free, every spiritual chain must break. You are not defined by your condition; you are defined by His word over your life.

Life Application

Like the woman, keep showing up in God’s presence even when you feel weighed down. Your consistency positions you for deliverance. The same Jesus who saw her sees you too. Trust His timing and believe that your “loosed at last” moment is near. Speak His word over your situation and walk in the freedom He has declared.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for seeing me in my pain. Speak Your word of freedom over every area of my life that is bound. Let every chain break, and let Your glory be revealed in me. Today, I declare that I am loosed at last. Amen.
