Found by Grace

Scripture Reading: Luke 15:4–6

Devotional Reflection
In Luke 15:4–6, Jesus paints a beautiful picture of grace. A shepherd leaves ninety-nine sheep to find the one that wandered away. This is not just a story about loss—it’s about love. The shepherd didn’t wait for the sheep to find its way back; he went after it. That’s how grace works. It doesn’t wait for us to be perfect before reaching out—it pursues us even in our brokenness.

Many times, we think we must fix ourselves before coming to God, but this parable reminds us that grace finds us where we are. The shepherd’s joy in finding the lost sheep shows God’s delight when a sinner repents. Salvation is not our achievement—it’s God’s gift. His grace carries us home when we cannot find the way.

Life Application:
Pause and reflect on moments when God’s grace found you—when you felt unworthy yet loved. Remember, you didn’t earn His mercy; it found you. Just as the shepherd carried the lost sheep, allow God to carry you in your weakness. Extend that same grace to others who have lost their way, knowing we all live by the same mercy.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for finding me when I was lost and for loving me beyond my faults. Help me rest in Your grace and reflect Your love to others. Amen.
