Scripture: "So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king’s wrath pacified." – Esther 7:10
Reflection
Life sometimes feels like a series of injustices—wicked people seem to prosper while the righteous suffer. But Esther 7 reminds us that God is always at work behind the scenes, orchestrating divine reversals.
Haman, a high-ranking official, plotted to destroy Mordecai and the entire Jewish people. He built gallows specifically to execute Mordecai. However, in a dramatic turn of events, the very trap Haman set for Mordecai became the instrument of his own downfall. This is a powerful reminder that no matter how impossible a situation may seem, God has the final say.
God’s justice is never delayed; it is always on time. When the enemy sets traps for God's people, God can turn the tables in a way no one expects. Just as He did for Esther and Mordecai, He can turn your situation around—replacing sorrow with joy, oppression with freedom, and fear with victory.
Application
- Trust in God's timing – Though it may seem like the enemy is winning, God's justice will prevail.
- Stay faithful and prayerful – Like Esther, seek God’s wisdom in challenging times and stand firm in faith.
- Do not fear opposition – No plan against you will succeed when God is your defender.
- Believe in divine reversals – If you are in a tough season, declare that God will turn your situation around for His glory.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God of justice and divine reversals. I trust that no matter what the enemy plans, You have the final say. Turn every difficult situation in my life into a testimony of Your power. Help me remain faithful and courageous, knowing that You fight for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
